We cover a wide range of major towns in Kenya where we sell properties by public auction, realize securities as well as repossessions. We are mandated to sell movable and immovable assets by public Auction and repossession of charged chattels.

Our physical jurisdiction is not limited to the specified areas; we are able to handle matters across the country mostly when they include repossessions, debt collection, realization of securities, sales and managements of properties.

Our storage facilities are fully covered against fire and burglary by: Africa Merchant Assurance Co. ltd. (AMACO)

Professional indemnity cover

Our current policy is from AMACO Assurance Company Ltd and is against professional misconduct, criminal or otherwise, in discharge of duties, losses charges and damages which may occur during performances of any tasks by us and or our staff, the policy can and may be increased to suit our client’s requirements if the need arises.

In house lawyer

As a matter of policy and practice, we work closely with our corporate client’s internal lawyers and provide written opinion and files statutes reports promptly upon request.

Our services

As an auctioneering firm, Havilah Auctioneers works either directly with individuals or we can be sub-contracted by other companies to act on their behalf.

We also handle conveyance tasks on behalf of our clients which includes extension of leases, procurement and transfer of title deeds, undertake search requests both at the company registry and the Ministry of Lands among many other related tasks across the country.

ICT facilities

The firm is fully computerized, both in the provision of investigation services and the day-to-day running of the firm. The use of ICT in the firm has enabled us to efficiently follow up files and cases as well as maintain effective communication with our clients.

Billing structure

Our charges are always dependent on the scope and nature of services rendered. The billing rates are subject to variations depending on on the client’s preference, although the scale fees under the Auctioneers Act Cap No. 5 Laws of Kenya fee is however subject to negotiation.
